Kalpakanchery Panchayat Introduces Physical Literacy Programme

Kalpakanchery: The Kalpakanchery Panchayat administration is implementing a Physical Literacy Programme in LP schools this year, with the objective of providing children with training to develop their physical and sports abilities from an early age.

The Panchayat administration has appointed a sports teacher to implement the Physical Literacy Programme for children. The programme is designed to provide physical education two days a month in all 11 LP schools under the Panchayat.

The programme aims to develop children's physical abilities and identify their interest and aptitude in sports.

The Panchayat-level inauguration was held at GLP School, Kalpakanchery. Panchayat President A. P. Sabah inaugurated the Physical Literacy Programme. Ramachandran Nellikkunnu, Chairman of the Panchayat Development Standing Committee, presided over the function.

Latheef Pallissery, Chairman of the Health and Education Standing Committee; Supervisor and PTA President Shakeer Ali; MMC Chairman Jasi; Physical Education Teacher Kannirshad; and teachers Sulaiman Master and Sameer Master, among others, attended the programme.
